What Areas Are Available For
Delivery?
The Meal Man SD currently delivers to the La Jolla, San Diego,
Del Mar, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe,
Miramesa, Scripps Miramar Ranch, and University City areas. We will
be expanding our delivery zones in the near future. To see if
delivery is available to you, click on the drop doen zip code box on
the homepage to see the list of zip codes that we currently service
(or will service in the near future). If you don't see your zip code
listed please call us, we will try our best to accomodate you! There
may be an additional fee for deliveries to certain zip codes, this
will be plainly seen when you place your order online. The
additional fee goes directly to the

What Are Your Delivery Hours?
Our delivery hours are:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm 4:00 pm - 9:00
pm
Saturday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Sunday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
**Our hours will be changing in the near future to allow
you to have your favorite restauramts delivered throughout the day
and later into the night.

How Do I Place An Order?
You can place an order online at www.SDMealz.com or call (855)
271-TOGO (8646) and one of our customer service representatives will
assist you with placing your

How Long Does It Take For Delivery?
The average delivery time varies based on volume and time of day.
We usually quote between 45 minutes to an hour. All
multi-restaurant deliveries will be quoted at least an hour.
Delivery times are also based on traffic and weather
conditions in addition to the restaurants volume. We strongly
recommend lunch orders to be placed the day before so you can
secure your desired delivery time. We recommend that large orders be
placed at least the day before as you can schedule deliveries days,
weeks, or even months in advance. We will make every attempt
possible to get your meals to you as quickly as possible. Please
remember that all of our participating restaurants will be preparing
your meals to order.

What Is The Delivery Charge and Food Order
Minimum?
The delivery fee is $6.99 for online orders ($7.99 for call in
orders**). You must meet the $20 food minimum
(minimum is before taxes, fees and drinks (if purchasing from
Beverages & More)) **There may be an increased delivery fee
for deliveries that are over a certain distance from the restaurant.
This will be clearly viewed when you place your order online
and explained if the order is placed over the phone. The
additional delivery fee goes directly to the driver
to cover his or her
gas. _______________________________________________________________________________
Is The Gratuity For The Driver Included In My
Order?
Our drivers use their own vehicles and gas. They work hard to
assure that your meal is delivered to you promptly
andprofessionally. As with all food service staff, they rely on
tips as their major source of income. Unlike
restaurant wait staff, our drivers do not serve multiple
tables. They dedicate themselves exclusively to your order. The
entire delivery process for our drivers from start to finish can
take up to one hour. A 15-20% gratuity is suggested on all orders.
On orders $50 or more, there is an automatic 15% gratuity added on.
It is NOT added to all orders. Our drivers
sincerely appreciate your generous consideration.
*The Meal Man SD reserves the right to implement an automatic
gratuity to any order at our discretion. As independent contractors,
our drivers have the right to refuse delivery.

Can I Order From Multiple Restaurants?
Yes, you can order from multiple restaurants, but we do require
that you meet the minimum order amount and oay the normal delivery
fee for each restaurant. Note that multi-restaurant deliveries will
take longer than the usual 45-60 minute delivery

Can I Order From A Restaurant Outside Of My Delivery
Zone?
Delivery zones are limited to ensure that your order is delivered
in a timely manner and will always arrive hot, fresh and delicious.
Please note that if you place an order outside of your
delivery zone the order will take longer than our usual 45-60 minute
delivery time frame and there may be an additional delivery fee.
Orders that are placed online with a zip code that is not
accurate will be assesed an out of area delivery fee if it applies
and a new receipt will be sent. Please call 855-271-8646 and a
customer service representative will assist you with your

How Do I Know That My First Online Order Has Been
Placed?
When you place your FIRST online order, you
MUST call The Meal Man within 15 minutes of order
placement or the order will not be filled. If you change your email
address, phone number or address you will receive a message to call
to confirm your account again. For all online orders, you will
receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive one, then we did
not receive your order. We are not liable for online orders that do
not go

Can I Cancel My Order?
Orders cannot be canceled once they have been placed with
the restaurant. If you need to cancel or make changes to an
advanced order, call 855-271-8646 and a manager will assist
you. _______________________________________________________________________________________
Does Your Service Mark Up Prices ?
Absolutely NOT! All menu items and prices are determined by the
restaurants and provided to us by the restaurants. Certain
restaurants may include a "service fee" for the to-go
packaging. _______________________________________________________________________________________
What Are My Payment Options?
*Residential/Hotel: Cash, Credit Card, and Gift
Certificates *Corporate: Cash, Credit Card, Company Check
(company check address must match delivery addressa), House Account
and Gift Certificates *We accept Visa, Mastercard, American
Express and Discover. There is a 4% discount when paying with cash.
If you are paying with a credit card there will be a check/cc amount
shown on the receipt.
*IF YOU ARE PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD, PLEASE HAVE BOTH
YOUR ID AND YOUR CREDIT CARDS HANDY WHEN THE DRIVER ARRIVES. We take
credit card fraud very seriously and have a detective on hand to
investigate and prosecute if the situation does

Is My Coupon/Gift Card To (Restaurant Name) Valid To Use
With The Meal Man SD?
No. Only The Meal Man SD gift cards, gift certificates and
coupons are valid to use with delivery orders. Our participating
restaurants still want to serve you in person for those nights out.
So save those coupons for a top quality, complete service, in house
meal. ________________________________________________________________________________________
I Have A Problem With My Order, What Should I
Do?
If there are any problems with your order, you must call us
within 15 minutes of the order being delivered. We will confirm with
the restaurant regarding the mistake. Once we verify with the
restaurant that it was on their end, we will either re-deliver the
missing/incorrect item(s) or refund you the amount for your next
delivery. If our driver has to re-deliver, you must give the driver
the incorrect item. If the incorrect item is not provided or was
correct after inspection, you will be charged for both items. Please
Note: All sales are final. The Meal Man SD will make every effort to
make sure you are satisfied with our service and your meal. We
require all participating restaurants to package your meals
according to your order. Your Mobile Waiter will NOT open the
packaging to verify accuracy or preperation of your meal. All of our
drivers are fully screened and are fully

Can I Sign Up For A Corporate House Account?
Corporate House Accounts are available as a convenience for
companies who would like to be billed bi-monthly for their orders.
